Key performance data

The Government did not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021-2022 academic year. They have archived data from 2018-19 and recognise that data from that year may no longer reflect current performance. 
 
Key Stage 2 (Year 6) performance data for end of academic year 2022-2023:

Sparkwell Primary Key stage 2 Assessment results 2023-2024 

Primary schools must publish their most recent key stage 2 performance measures. 

14 Y6 pupils, 7% EHCP and disapplied, 36% SEND 

Percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in reading: 79% (greater depth: 29%) 

Percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in writing: 64% (greater depth 14%) 

Percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in grammar, punctuation & spelling: 79% (21% greater depth) 

Percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in maths: 57%  

Percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths (combined): 50% 

Percentage of pupils who achieved a higher standard in reading, writing and maths (combined): 0 

Average scaled score in: 

Reading: 99 (106 without disapplied pupil) 

Maths: 102 (109 without disapplied pupil) 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling: 97 (104 without disapplied pupil) 

Progress scores are not available due to no KS1 assessments in 2020.  

National comparisons: Attainment remained the same in 2024 as in 2023 in maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling. In reading, 74% of pupils met the expected standard, up from 73% in 2023. In maths, 73% of pupils met the expected standard, unchanged since 2023. In writing, 72% of pupils met the expected standard, up from 71% in 2023
