Governors

Our Local Board is the Totnes Local Advisory Committee (LAC).
 
Totnes LAC serves Broadhempston, Diptford, Harbertonford, Landscove, Sparkwell and Stoke Gabriel primary academies. The Totnes LAC clerk is Nicol Bush, she can be contacted through her email address Nicol.Bush@thelink.academy. Totnes and Newton and Teign Federations were the first Hubs to be formed as they were operating as such when the Trust was established in April 2016 and then with Sparkwell recently joining the Link in 2023.

Caroline Lucas has had 3 children at Sparkwell and is our parent representative on the board, she meets half termly with the headteacher and reports back to the LAC.

I have several years of experience teaching Early Years and also hold a degree in working with children and families. In addition, I am a successful business owner, responsible for managing over fifty staff. Three of my children have attended Sparkwell school, and currently, my daughter is in year 4. I am deeply passionate about Sparkwell's ethos and values, which prioritises the children's education, and I am committed to supporting this mission.
